Its not like I know a lot many X words, its a rather unique and rare alphabet! My X word is xenophile which I have read in some books but I havent necessarily used the word in any context.
Xenophile is somebody who likes or is attracted to foreign people, styles or cultures.I think I may be a bit of xenophile since I sometimes feel very attracted to certain foreign cuisines or cultures especially japanese or korean. Being a xenophile does not necessarily mean you travel a lot, one can also learn by reading about other cultures and styles.
The opposite of Xenophile is a Xenophobe which would mean someone who does not like foreign peoples or customs.A xenophile person would be welcoming to an open or diverse group of ppl whereas a xenophobe would have a closed group of friends and wouldnt like to mingle much with foreigners.
