Day…(Well i have really lost the count now)

So approximately 2 weeks in Kochi 🙂 well last couple of days i cudnt blog coz i had gone home..ya home as in my real home, my native place 🙂 we have a humble home there and my parents now live there (ex NRIs)  ! ya tats one gud thing about living in Kochi…my real home is 2 hrs away by train.

Speaking of train…i think i was travelling by train after a span of some 4-5 yrs…and it sure felt gud……i think the best ‘side seat’ experience belongs to the train wen compared to all other modes of commuting- and no i dont mean the ac compartments, i mean the normal sleeper class ones..u see all kinds of ppl in a train…and i luv luking at everyone’s expressions….the vendors tirelessly, incessantly calling out..the colg kids engrossed in grp chatter..the ladies complaining about their life and the cooking they need to do for their husbands…etc etc…

The sound of the rails which seems rhythmic while travelling…the peculiar smell of the train…and the breeze which enters ur hair leaving a tornado like situation in ur head ..and the chai u get in the train!!!!!!…dont know y but the only tea i like is the irctc pantry one…sumthing very very different about it….

so ya i experienced all these beautiful moments n treasured them on my trip to home this week.i ate like a gluttonous monster at home…visited the nearby churches..and before i knew it the weekend passed by..

well i am bak in Kochi now n this weekend i will be here itself so plan to explore the city a lil bit.

hmm but i feel a lil friendless here……… ‘Sleepless in Seattle’, i feel ‘Friendless in Kochi’ 🙂

Yes…i am alive….n btw it Day 6

hmmm..ya so i disappeared….:) tats wat i do all the time…every new blog i start..i am not able to keep up with it…ya so i m sorry dear blog 🙂

Well new girl has been upset…its a new place…plus new surroundings…and now on day 6 at office is wen i really feel it….Thats when it really starts to sink in…..but i will live 🙂

Ya so coming back to my life, last week coincidently my first one in Kochi too, was gud..spent the day at my frnd’s place.yea this frnd was my roommate in colg hostel during our engg days for 4 long yrs.and now she is doing her phd here…aint that cool? and everytym we meet we remember those colg hostel days from the weird wardens to the food there to all the other hostelmates etc etc

so she showed a little of kochi….to be precise..we went to boat jetty and tuk the ferry till fort kochi!!!!!….oh the ferry trip was so gud..i felt like a kid again..mesmerised by the beauty of the waves arnd me..we roamed arnd there a bit..went to the beach..which wasnt very clean but very breezy and cool.

i have always loved beaches..whether the soft waves of Benaulim beach in Goa or watching the hurried waves of the Arabian Sea hit the Gateway of India in Bombay…or the quiet waters of in Konkan area…or the muddy water of Shangumugham beach in Tvm…or the rough waves of Colombo in Sri Lanka…i always always remember the waves 🙂

ya so Sunday went well and ended with me goin to a famous St.Anthony’s church in Kaloor. And i prayed that the miracle worker wud help me out of all my dilemmas..

Wrk life is goin slow but goin on..see u soon!

Day 4- assigned to Project

yay so i finally got a project!!!!!! ya for IT ppl it is a veryyyyyy big thing coz that project is gona decide the very existence of my life in the next few years…..

so technically things start tomm and tomm is a friday , friday is not a very gud day to start stuff coz the whole day u r only thinking of the weekend. 😛

so today i dont wana talk about my day coz there is nothing much about it really…today i suddenly missed my best friend..well let me give u some background…

We met in 7th std in school… first , we were in rival groups, then in 8th, we started talking sumwhat, in 9th std, we both got nominated to the student council as prefects…..thats wat triggered our friendship and no stopping since then…so technically we have been besties for 13 years now! Which is a very long time..although we have not always been in the same city always, we have always made it a point to keep in touch, first thru snail mail, then email, then calls , then smses and now obviously whatsapp and skype! so ya our friendship has stood the test of all modes of communication. 🙂 the funniest part is she is Maharashtrian and i am a Keralite but that has never ever been a hindrance. The reason i am talking about her is coz i got her call today, it was a silly issue but she wanted to discuss it with me, it made me so nostalgic!

As it is I am New Girl in New City and then getting ur bestie’s call from another state and that too to discuss sumthing very silly is so funny and cute. Truly friends are gifts from God!I am sure all reading this post will agree to this and i know u cannot live without ur bestie!

Ok so gudnite and will login tomm next..till then tc and stay cool!
