My heart has been paining since the time i heard about the Cusat tech fest tragedy….my mind goes back to my own college days in tvm- cultural fest, tech fest…there would always be some celebrity performance on the last day.. the more prominent or famous the college is, the bigger the celebrity invited..it would all end in great fun, joy and sumtimes chaos, but mostly controlled chaos with most of the time a downpour….Rain is an indelible part of Kerala..
And to think that the same above scenario played out in that campus but it ended up in losing precious young lives is shocking and truly speaking unthinkable to me…. But then unknowingly another thought comes, what if it had hapnd during my college days and if in my college? the setup and backdrop had not been very different from what was here..
Who is answerable to those parents now who just lost a piece or maybe even their whole heart and soul on hearing this?!Can an event meant to give joy and laughter end up being so painfully cathartic?!
